Tina Harris

Tina Harris is a multi-instrumentalist performer, composer, musical director and arranger. 

She straddles two distinct musical worlds; one where she plays bass in an array of Afro Cuban, Salsa and Latin American bands – mambo orchestra Mucho Mambo, The Buena Vista Social Club Tribute, Brazilian funk and jazz, Cumbia mega-band, Cumbiamuffin and West African funk band, Keyim Ba.

In the other, she has played (usually bass, but sometimes keyboard/guitar) in multiple main stage music theatre productions such as Come From Away, In The Heights, Rent, Hedwig And The Angry Inch, Hair, The Rocky Horror Show, cabarets of all kinds and sundry and other styles and situations in between (funk, soul, punk, pop, country, folkloric, etc.).

She is also bandleader and arranger of her 8-piece show band, Tijuana Taxi – A Tribute to Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass.
